Project: Travia

Project Overview
Travia is a travel platform. Below is our approach to a build of this kind — from research and strategy through to design, development, and impact.
The Challenge
Travel products fight complexity: lots of options, lots of decisions, and a user who abandons the moment it feels like work. The design has to make a complex process feel light.
Objectives
Reduce planning friction, present rich options without overwhelming the user, and turn browsing into booking or sign-up.
Research
We mapped the planning journey, studied where users drop off in comparable travel products, and identified the moments where good design removes the most friction.
Strategy
The strategic problem in travel UX is progressive disclosure — showing enough to inspire without burying the user in options.
UX Thinking
A flow that reveals complexity gradually, strong visual hierarchy for browsing, and a path that always makes the next step obvious.
Design
Imagery-forward design that sells the destination, with interface elements that stay out of the way of the content.
Development
A performant platform that handles rich media and complex data without feeling heavy.
Technology
A modern front end paired with a content and data backend, built to support booking and mapping integrations.
Business Impact
Impact details to be confirmed once real project data is available.
Key Outcomes
Outcomes to be added once verified — this section highlights the measurable and qualitative results of the project.
Lessons Learned
In travel, the win is making complexity feel simple — and that's a UX problem before it's a feature problem.
